Abdominal Day

  • January 8, 2012
  • Tony Matesi

Today was one of those days where I had a lot of little things on my list to accomplish. My weekends are normally when I dedicate the most time to my training. Since I had a lot to do today I decided I would focus primarily on my abs. Throughout the day I did the following.

  • 2 Minute Plank Holds (10x over course of the day)
  • 150 Crunches
  • 150 Penguins (that’s what I call them) – To do the penguin, lay on your back with your legs bent and feet about a foot away from your glutes. With both arms at your side lift them approximately an inch or so off the ground. Now reach from side to side toward your feet with your shoulder blades only slightly off the ground.
  • 150 Flutter Kicks
  • 50 V-Ups
  • 100 push-ups (only non ab exercise for the day)

This is a fairly simple workout and the best part is most of this you can do while watching a TV show, or in between everyday tasks since each exercise only takes a couple minutes. What did you do today?
